We’re excited to share some wonderful news: Patricia Tacchino, LCSW, has joined the Oak Counseling team!

With nearly 15 years of experience working with children and families, Patricia brings deep clinical knowledge, creative therapeutic tools, and a warm, supportive presence to our practice.

Patricia specializes in play therapy and sand tray therapy, two powerful, child-centered approaches that allow kids to express themselves in ways that feel natural and safe.

These therapies are especially effective for children dealing with:

• Anxiety or worry

• Behavioral challenges

• Life transitions (like divorce, moving, or school changes)

• Emotional regulation and social skills

• Trauma or grief

What sets Patricia apart is her ability to meet children exactly where they are — emotionally, developmentally, and relationally. Her work is rooted in empathy and understanding, and her sessions are built on trust, creativity, and connection.
