Patricia Tacchino, LCSW
Therapist
With nearly 15 years of experience, Patricia brings a gentle, nurturing presence to her work with children and families. Her approach is grounded in play therapy and sand tray therapy, offering a safe, supportive environment where children can express themselves, build emotional awareness, and work through challenges such as anxiety, behavioral concerns, and life transitions.
Patricia is especially skilled in supporting very young children, including those as young as two. She incorporates narrative therapy by inviting families and other important people in a child’s life to help create a personalized storybook—a meaningful keepsake that reminds the child they are special, powerful, and safe.
Her work is guided by a strong belief that when young children are given space to process their experiences early, it can reduce the likelihood of those experiences becoming larger struggles later in life. Patricia’s approach is relational, developmentally sensitive, and deeply compassionate—meeting each child exactly where they are and supporting them with warmth, trust, and care.
