Michael Baniewicz, Psy.D.
Pediatric Neuropsychologist
Dr. Baniewicz is a pediatric neuropsychologist who works with children, teens, and young adults, ages three through college. He specializes in evaluations for neurodevelopmental disorders which include learning differences, ADHD, autism spectrum concerns, medical and genetic conditions, and giftedness.
His approach is person-affirming, meaning he takes care to recognize the unique strengths, experiences, and identities of each child he works with. He believes that children act in the best way they know how, and that behavior reflects both their strengths and the skills they are still developing. His goal is to help families better understand how their child’s brain works. By uncovering the “why” behind learning or behavioral challenges, he empowers families with the knowledge they need to move forward with clarity and confidence.
In addition to his clinical training, Dr. Baniewicz has experience collaborating with schools and medical providers. This background helps him bridge the gap between families and educational teams, ensuring that children receive the support they need in the home, community, and school environments.
A graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Baniewicz completed his internship and postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology. He now brings his expertise and compassion together to support children and families in Chester County.
